Employed by Tarmac Ltd to refurbish their ageing office block in Wolverhampton, original building was of solid wall construction therefore had mass heat loss, by installing Alumasc’s Swisslab EWI System using 50mm Phenolic not only did it bring the building up to the current u-value standard of 0.35 (At time of project) but refresh the ageing look of the building. Gaffney & Guinan also installed aluminium flashings manufactured by Trueline Expanded Products Ltd to cover concrete mullions.
